This blog aspires to be a lot of things - a place to learn, to interact, and to share. One of the projects on the horizon is something we are calling an Equipedia. These entries would help provide explanations and context for things ranging from equipment to breed specifications to how competitions are judged across disciplines.
The VHCF is used and visited by all sorts of people - all with different knowledge sets and experiences. If you are here for an event outside your sport or breed OR if you aren't a horse person at all, the Equipedia entries will illustrate what you are watching, the origins and use of certain animals, and even shed new light on different equine practices and dress. In the end, we hope to be able to publish these resources into a guide book for VHCF exhibitors and visitors alike.
