One of the most important components
of the VHCF's mission is to provide programs that promote EDUCATION. To that
end, we have two content rich seminars coming up on Saturday, May 12 and
Saturday, May 19.
The first is "Know What You
Don't Know - Protect Yourself Through Knowledge. Take Action." This
seminar is the second event hosted and promoted through our new Women for the VHCF committee that works to enhance the calendar with unique opportunities to learn,
socialize, and support the Foundation's work. Attorney Kelly
LaPar of Lenhart Obenshain and Gardy Bloemers of Merrill Lynch, both of
Charlottesville will lead this program on May 12 from 9:30am-1:30pm in the
Appomattox Mezzanine.
Attendees will learn more about the Virginia Equine Liability Act, ways and means to financial freedom for women, and the ins and outs of farm and ranch trust management. This program is FREE but only open to 25 participants. A buffet lunch is included.
